CMF Distribution is a United States based wholesale distributor of pipe (HDPE, PVC, Ductile Iron, Steel etc.), valves, fittings, wire, and associated products, both inside and outside the USA.  We also supply a wide variety of electrical equipment, including wire, cable, conduit, fittings, grounding products, and splicing products.  We distribute the products of about 40 U.S. based companies.

 

CMF Distribution is the exclusive distributor of WL Plastics pipe in North Africa, the Middle East, and the Philippines.  WL Plastics manufactures high performance High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and related products and is one of the largest manufacturers of polyethylene pipe in North America.

 

CMF Distribution supplies piping material for many applications:  Water transmission and distribution, Factory Mutual (FM) approved fire suppression systems, sewer systems, oil and gas applications, industrial/mining applications, and irrigation systems.  Our products are often used in environmentally beneficial applications:  water reclamation, water filtration, desalination plants, etc.  CMF Distribution is an expert consolidator of complete golf irrigation systems.

From its inception, CMF Distribution has been an exporter of U.S. goods. We have shipped material to:  Dubai, Abu Dhabi, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, China, the Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Nigeria, and Russia.

 

CMF Distribution was founded in 2002.  It is owned 50/50 by Ramon M. Castillo and Joseph C. Fernandez.  Ramon was born in Cuba and arrived in National City, CA, in 1962, at the age of 12.  He was educated at Sweetwater Union High School, Yale College, and Harvard Law School.   Joe was born in San Diego, CA, and was educated at Marion Catholic High School and Southwestern College.  They have a combined experience of 31 years in the pipe, valves, fittings, and wire business.

 

CMF Distribution has offices in Manila, Abu Dhabi, and Beijing. We are one of only twenty-five companies to have recently travelled to Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya as part of the first official U.S. Executive Trade Mission to those countries.
