Yuka Yu

Yuka Yu is Vice President of Global Supply Chain Operations, Sony Electronics.  She is responsible for customer supply chain operations, data management and strategic integration of demand and supply planning processes and executions across Sony Electronics enterprise.

Yu joined Sony Electronics in 2001 and has held numerous operational leadership positions with VAIO Marketing Group, Information Technology Product Division.  She has been deeply involved in VAIO PC supply-chain strategy including collaborative forecasting, demand planning, new product introduction, customer-order fulfillment and demand-base management for the past several years. Most recently, Yuka was Director of VAIO marketing responsible for making the business profitable and achieving market leadership for VAIO PCs in the U.S. market.

Prior to joining Sony Electronics, Yu held several product planning and sales positions, including product planning with Toshiba Corporation; sales management with Tech Data Canada; and territory account management with Sony Canada.

Yu earned an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA degree from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Tokyo Gaigokugo Daigaku).  She is on Advisory Board with Consumer Electronics Supply Chain Academy, World Trade Center San Diego Board of Director and a member of Athena San Diego

Yu was born in Taipei Taiwan and has lived in Japan and Canada.  She currently resides in San Diego, California
