Timothy C. DeMarco
International Decisions, Inc.
Mr. DeMarco is President of his own international management consulting company, International Decisions, Inc., a firm whose focus is providing advice to corporate management on developing and implementing strategies to do business outside of the U.S. With over 26 years of international experience, Mr. DeMarco's primary areas of expertise are developing strategies for: International Business Development, Product Distribution, Distributor/Dealer Contracts, and Customer Services.
Mr. DeMarco has over 35 years of experience in the sales and service of high value technical capital equipment to the power generation and oil and gas energy industry. He has considerable experience in the power generation, CHP market.
Prior to his own company, Mr. DeMarco was a senior executive with Solar Turbines, Inc, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, Inc. At Solar he managed a $100 million worldwide dealer/packager program. He also led the International Power Generation Business Development effort.
He has strong business experience in Europe, Japan, Middle East, China, Asia and Russia. Mr. DeMarco lived and worked overseas with his family for five years in Athens, Greece and Brussels, Belgium. He has traveled to over 55 countries.
Mr. DeMarco has been guest speaker and lecturer at the University of Phoenix, California Council for International Trade, WORLD TRADE CENTER San Diego, U.S. Department of Commerce, National District Export Council Conference, San Diego State University, Cal. State San Marcos and the American Water Works Association International Conference.
Mr. DeMarco is currently active in a leadership role in the San Diego international community. He is the 2006-7 Chair of the San Diego District Export Council, serving as Vice Chair in 2004 and 2005. He also holds national office as a member of the District Export Council National Steering Committee. Mr. DeMarco is a current member of the Board of Directors of the WORLD TRADE CENTER San Diego. He served as Chair of the WORLD TRADE CENTER San Diego in 1999 and 2000.
Mr. DeMarco received his B.S. from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, with emphasis in Mechanical Engineering. He has taken Advanced Management courses from the Center for Creative Leadership and at Thunderbird's American Graduate School of International Management.
