Directed $1 billion, San Diego business unit of Sony Electronics through a transition from a vertically integrated supplier of computer displays to a horizontally based business model. utilizing outsourced manufacturing

Led project team that moved electronics unit from last place supplier to first place supplier for key OEM account with over $300 million in revenue.

Led project team that drove quality issues in design, manufacturing and distribution that resulted in reducing field failure rates by 50% and quality costs by several million dollars.

Interim Chief Financial Officer of Alliance Healthcare Foundation, a  private foundation which promotes health and wellness in the San Diego region where he leads financial and administrative activities and works with the Finance Committee to direct an $85 million portfolio.

Chief Financial Officer of DriveCam, Inc., a company that mitigates risk by improving driver behavior and assessing liability in collisions where he led the financial, manufacturing and information systems functions.  Accomplishments there include revamping of the financial systems, successful navigation through the first audit and successful round B financing.

Sony Electronics  1995 - 2004
Helped lead the business from $450 million to $1.3 billion in revenue.  Responsible for financial functions, key OEM relationship management, design engineering, supply chain initiatives, quality programs and new systems implementation at a unit making computer displays and extensive travel to Asia.

Managed finance and administration at the Latin American headquarters for a broadcast product unit that grew from $18 million to $100 million over a seven year period. Led development of financial, legal and information systems infrastructure  - extensive travel throughout Latin America
